No Black Man Left Behind, Inc. is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation and has applied to the Internal Revenue Service for recognition of exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The application is currently pending. Donors do not have advance assurance of the deductibility of contributions while the application is pending. If the IRS approves the organization's timely filed application, recognition generally will be effective retroactively to the organization's formation date, subject to applicable law.
